Tea
A drink made by steeping herbs in boiling water. In some
cases we recommend using a tea AND a tincture
because a tea will give you the water soluble properties and the
tincture will give you the alcohol soluble properties and when you
use the two together you get a MUCH greater
effect.
Effector
Herbs that have an observable impact on the body. Their
impact can be felt on an immediate basis or in a very short period
of time.

an unhealthy condition of an organ or the body to a healthy one.
Decoction
A tea made by steeping herbs in boiling water. This method
of deriving properties from plants is used on the leaves, stems
and sometimes berries - the soft parts of plants.
Infusion
A tea made by boiling herbs in water. This method of deriving
properties from plants is used on the more course or hard parts
of plants such as seeds, nuts, bark, roots and certain berries.
Poultic
It is a pack that is made from herbs and some sort of liquid.
It's applied to the skin to draw something out or to sooth and heal
it.
Note:
There may be times when you want to get rid of the alcohol in a
tincture. To do this, put the tincture into a cup. Add about 1/2
cup boiling water. Swirl around for 1 minute. This process will
evaporate most of the alcohol. Remember, put the tincture in the
cup FIRST, then add the boiling water.
